It's no joke that time does go by oh so quickly when you have a child! So trying to savor every milestone and glorious family moment it hard. We have tried to document with pictures and I have been very diligent in keeping up with the baby book. But it still doesn't seem like enough. I was looking back at pictures of McKenna at just a few days old and began to think she is no longer a "newborn" per say.
Amazing things have happened in just 6 months of McKenna's life! She is now sitting up on her own, has her bottom two front teeth, beginning to try solid foods through Baby Led Weaning, orienting herself with a sippy cup, talking and giggling up a storm, and with all this she is on the very verge of crawling. She is also quite the charmer with her bright blue eyes!
Side note: WE have officially been using cloth diapers for two months as of today and man do we LOVE them! We.will.never.go.back! Mike is so on board with with and actually agrees that they are better than disposables. Wish we would have started from birth. Not only are they great for the environment, but they are better for baby's body. No harsh chemicals just sitting against her body for 24hrs each day. Miss McKenna brightens our life in oh so many ways! We can't imagine life without her! So to end this short, but sweet entry we will take a look at the past month in pictures :)
